We barely saw other guests, since both meals came to our room, and that quiet privacy was a big part of what we liked about this adults-only boutique stay. Just know you'll spend most of your time in your room or villa. Our suite was roomy, though it looked dated and didn't have the upscale feel we expected. The outdoor tub felt too small for two. The minibar had complimentary juice, beer, and water, and there was a Dyson hairdryer plus Thann amenities. Dinner was enjoyable, especially the Ise lobster sashimi and Matsusaka steak, but we'd have liked slightly larger portions. Breakfast was simple for the price, and we've eaten better for a similar cost elsewhere in Japan. We also weren't clearly told at check-in that the package included free-flow drinks at the bar. It was open only from 7 to 9 pm, which overlapped with dinner and seemed odd.

The warm welcome from the staff made this a memorable stay, and I found the bar a lovely place to spend time. The food was delicious and satisfying, too. The rooms were clean and very spacious, so it was easy to relax and shake off everyday stress. There's no convenience store nearby, and there isn't a souvenir shop. The open-air bath isn't a hot spring, either. Nothing here felt especially unusual, but for me it was still a very satisfying ryokan stay.

We picked a room with its own open-air bath so we could properly unwind. The room meals meant we hardly crossed paths with other guests, which made the stay feel especially peaceful. The May weather was lovely, with a soft breeze and birdsong, and the view was great.

I had a quiet, peaceful stay, and the noon checkout made it easy to take things slowly. The food was all delicious and very good quality. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help, even when things were difficult. I felt relieved and very grateful for everything. Someone brought me here this time, but I'd like to come back by myself, without being any trouble. Thank you so much.

We came with our six-month-old, and they had everything ready when we arrived, including a crib. The staff were careful and attentive throughout. The villas are huge, with both an indoor bath and an outdoor one. It's a great base for exploring Ise-Shima Park, though I'd definitely recommend having a car.
