There's a drugstore right next door, plus a 24-hour Aeon nearby and plenty of food options. Go early or book ahead for meals. The owner was kind and very helpful, and the hotel has been operating for over 40 years. They left clean towels and amenities like shampoo, toothbrushes, and shower gel each day. The room was a usual small size, but the bed was comfortable. It also had a fridge and good air conditioning. We had a great stay.

The owner was hilarious, and the hotel is right by the train station and Shimoda restaurants. Free parking was handy. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable, and towels were changed every day. There’s no elevator, and the shower is tiny, though the water pressure and hot water were great. The air conditioning is strong. It’s run by just the owner and his wife, and check-in and check-out were extremely quick. You get what you pay for.

It's near the station, but the rooms are old and checkout is really early. You get what you pay for.

I had a very disappointing experience.

The TV and refrigerator weren't working. The place has a Showa-era atmosphere, and though the owner looks intimidating, he was very kind. Apparently it's the only business hotel in Shimoda with hot springs.
