Villa Shirahama

We had a few lovely days here, and the air conditioning worked! The room was clean and well cared for, with a sea view, and there’s also a pool for guests. The decor and rooms aren’t especially new or luxurious, but they have a charming retro feel. Shirahama Beach is about a 10-minute walk away. We had a delicious BBQ dinner in the garden under the palm trees. I’d recommend the place to anyone who prefers a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere to modern luxuries.

We had a room with a great view and enjoyed both the upper and lower onsens. The staff were amazing, and the breakfast plan was delicious. We had a rental car, so getting there was easy, but you’d need to check how to reach the place without one.

The view from this beautiful hotel is gorgeous, and the service was excellent. It’s conveniently close to the beach and a convenience store. We tried the BBQ, but it wasn’t anything fancy. There are two public baths that you can reserve for private use. A few insects might get into your room if you open the windows, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would still highly recommend it.

Happy hour was fun, with games and yummy food, and watching the sunset was lovely. The accommodation is beautiful and run by lovely people. Our modern room had everything we needed, and the breakfast, pool, and onsens were all amazing. Thank you!
