For a reasonable price, I found a great place to enjoy a hot spring and a draft beer nearby. It was my first visit and I'm glad I went. The room wasn't quite what I'd expected, but I got to use the larger bath and had it all to myself, so I could relax. Dinner's sashimi was fresh and delicious, breakfast had plenty of vegetables, and the dessert was lovely. I was very satisfied and would love to return! 😊

It was my second visit, and I found it so relaxing again. The bath and food both satisfied me. Breakfast was pre-made, but I suppose that's unavoidable these days. See you next time! 😊

The location is handy, within walking distance of Takase, a soba restaurant. It's a small, old-fashioned inn, and the food was delicious. Dinner and breakfast were served in the large dining hall. The pufferfish and eggplant at dinner were especially good. Breakfast had lots of little dishes, but perhaps it had been sitting out for a while, since the salmon was cold and dry. The waitress was attentive, though. My room and meal package cost 18,500 yen per person, which felt steep for such a tiny room. I couldn't sleep because it was so noisy, and around 16,000 yen might have seemed more reasonable. The room was old-fashioned, and I could hear everything next door. A family with children were in the neighboring room, and their playing was audible constantly. The windows seemed old too, and wind noise made it hard to sleep. I wouldn't recommend the inn to anyone wanting a quiet stay in a nice inn. Amenities were sparse, just a toothbrush and razor, and there wasn't a shower in the room. Even a disposable comb would have been nice. There are two small public baths, one for men and one for women. The changing rooms have only one sink, so I imagine it could get crowded when there are lots of people. I stayed on a Saturday, but it wasn't crowded.

The hot spring was spacious and quiet enough to relax in, and the inn had a lovely old-fashioned feel. But when I asked the staff about the area, they were probably busy and answered rudely. I’d never encountered such an overbearing man at an inn before.

The area around the ryokan was really quiet, which made it easy to relax. My travel plans got messed up, so I ended up staying here, and I was glad to find it incredibly clean and satisfying.
