There was loads of Chinese food at dinner, and I left full. It was delicious.
We hadn't stayed for several nights with my motorcycle friends in quite a while, so we spent time remembering the old days together. I've been coming since the year after the place opened, nearly 40 years ago, for motorcycle trips from spring through autumn and snowboarding in winter. As I've gotten older, I've moved away from winter sports and haven't had as many chances to visit. Dinner was still the same, delicious Chinese food with generous portions. I'll be back soon.
The food was delicious, with an excellent range of dishes and generous portions. On my first visit, I was invited to play board games and had the rules explained carefully, which made for a really fun time.
Meals have a nice atmosphere where you can end up chatting with people you don't know, and the okota adds to it. The food is mostly Chinese and exceptionally good. Playing German-themed board games together is a lot of fun: you think things through, depend on luck, and watch what everyone else is doing late into the night. It gets lively, with someone eventually going, “Huh? Really?!” Then in the morning, it's time to ski as much as you want. The best.
It's an old inn, but what makes it appealing is that hard-to-describe closeness between the owner and guests.
