The parking area felt unsafe. While we were there, snow from the roof froze into ice and fell onto a car, badly damaging it and shattering the windows. The owner hadn’t blocked off the area or warned guests. Someone could have been standing there and seriously hurt. We were charged extra for a heater, per person, even though the three of us shared one room with just one small, weak heater. It barely worked, and the room stayed freezing. Each morning we went skiing, then came back in the afternoon to find the heater switched off and the room ice cold. Charging for heating and then turning it off felt unacceptable. At least the room could have been warmed before we returned. The hospitality felt nonexistent. The “tatami” bed was hard and uncomfortable, with what seemed like an old, worn-out mattress over ten years old. The shower room was tiny and unpleasant. The building itself was old and poorly maintained, with no proper service, no safety precautions, and unfair extra charges. This was by far my worst accommodation experience, disappointing from check-in and feeling like a scam. I strongly don’t recommend it. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

It’s fairly near the ski resort, but the rooms are very plain and old-fashioned. They feel a bit like spaces converted from a warehouse.
