My wife and I stayed here on holiday from Australia. The area was peaceful, and our room was cozy. The hotel is run by a lovely, friendly, hospitable family who spoke English quite well too. I especially enjoyed their collection of 70’s rock albums and memorabilia. We talked and laughed about the good old days. I hope we can make it back someday.

The meals were feasts for both the eyes and the palate, and the family made us feel truly welcome with detailed explanations. One evening, playing piano while everyone listened made the stay even more fun. The charming family was a delight. This was one of our favorite places to stay in Japan: a magical family home surrounded by nature, decorated beautifully in a European style, with a warm, welcoming feel. The house is thoughtfully laid out, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, each with its own shower and toilet, and the internet connection is excellent. We highly recommend it.

We stayed in summer, with a big typhoon approaching Iwate, so I was concerned about the weather. Fortunately, we got to see a rainbow. The location is really good, and the owner is very kind.
