We were able to relax in the lobby, and having the whole place to ourselves worked really well for a family with a young child. We were there with our 1.5-year-old son, and the hosts were thoughtful in all sorts of ways: they cut his food into small pieces, helped with diaper disposal, and let us use the washing machine. Our family of three stayed two nights through the Go To Travel campaign. The kind couple running the place made us feel very welcome. We planned to barbecue outside, but it was chilly in the mountains when we arrived. They quickly let us move the barbecue indoors, where we used the large hot plate in the lobby. Breakfast included homemade bread and tasty side dishes. The stewed pumpkin was so good we asked for the recipe. The place is also close to Koiwai Farm. We'd stay again if we come back to Iwate. Thanks so much.
