This was probably my favorite hostel of the whole Japan trip. It was clean and had the basics I needed, including a kitchen and washing machine. I was touring Japan by bike, and there was enough room to keep it in the common area. A convenience store is just behind the place, and the quiet neighborhood felt ideal. The station is walkable too, under a kilometer away. A special thanks to the owner, Mr. Kosei, for being flexible. My stay permit was ending, so I had to fly out of Japan and then return. He let me leave my bike at the hostel for five days while I was away. I'd definitely stay here again someday. Kind regards, Tinton from Indonesia.

It isn't near a big city, but this is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The peaceful, relaxed feel made me happy, and I liked walking around to see local people and everyday life. If you're in the area, I'd say stay here for a night or two.

I liked how cozy and small the hostel felt. The Japanese-style capsule beds were very comfortable and gave you plenty of privacy. The kitchen was small but had what we needed, and you could use the washer and dryer for a small fee. I met other travelers in the common room, and spending the evenings together was nice.

A great hostel in a handy spot, with traditional Japanese-style beds and nice facilities. The owner is lovely and really helpful. It's a seven-minute walk to the station and one minute to a convenience store. The town is small and interesting, with lots of historic buildings, and Shizoka, Mt Fuji, and the Izu Peninsula are accessible from here. Highly recommended.

The hostel was clean and comfortable, with a wonderfully peaceful feel. The owner also helped me ship my luggage. I hope I can come back and spend longer in the area.
