The location was good, and it was only a short walk to the station. Check-in had a few hiccups, but it worked out fine. The room was comfortable enough for the price.

The staff were kind, and the in-room amenities were great, especially the shampoo. I also liked the comfortable nightgown and the modern TV.

It felt a little stuffy for gaijin, but the staff were helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was solid, and the hotel is close to the station and casual dining.

Getting there from the station was easy, and the room had what I needed for a night. But the toilet and bed didn’t feel properly cleaned. There was sand on the bed, and the old facilities and wallpaper had yellowed.

The staff were super friendly, so they weren’t the reason this was one of my worst hotel stays in Japan. The problem was the owner and the rules, which didn’t seem very friendly to foreigners living in Japan. I’d give it zero stars if I could, but the lowest I could choose was one.
