Lunch was the highlight, the menu was amazing. The restaurant sits right by the shore in a quiet, peaceful spot, and the service made the meal feel complete. Everyone was attentive and explained everything so well. Highly recommend it.

We stopped in for a break and enjoyed the view and relaxed atmosphere. The tacos were tasty, even if they weren't especially typical. We arrived just 10 minutes before the kitchen closed, so we could only choose from four of the five kinds. There was nobody else in the restaurant, yet our two plates took 30 minutes. Still, it was a nice little pause.

The staff made a real impression on me. I was out traveling in windy weather without plans to eat there or stay overnight, and they kindly let me wait inside for the next water bus. It was warm, and the atmosphere was next level. I wish I'd had more time to stay overnight on my trip. Thanks for the warm hospitality!

We spent two nights at Ulalena, and the hospitality was a big part of what made it special. The owner was warm and welcoming, and the service was amazing. Our room was beautifully arranged, with luxurious furniture and a divine bathroom, shower, and deep tub. They also provided lovely toiletries, paddleboards, and bicycles. It's right on the water, with gorgeous harbor and mountain views, and the whole place is quiet and serene. I can see why it feels a notch above the usual accommodation. Highly recommend.
