BE FREE HOTELS kofu

Kanpai 🍻 We were so impressed that we’re thinking about cancelling our next hotel and extending our stay here. This is going to be our regular place whenever we’re in the Kofu area.

After hiking around Yamanashi with five friends, we stayed here, and the facilities were great. The soundproofing is so good that you can sing karaoke or talk late without worrying, and it should also work well for families with little kids. There are even stairs in the room for children to climb up and down. The bathroom TV was a surprise: it’s huge and sounds great. The bathtub has room for everyone to stretch out, and there’s a big screen and excellent karaoke as well. I usually prefer a day trip to a hot spring, but this place might change my mind. Breakfast is included, room service food is inexpensive, and they’ll bring it even late at night.

We had a karaoke party that night since my friends booked a room with karaoke and a sauna. The rooms with kitchens sound interesting, so I’d like to come back and try one. Our room was spacious, with a big TV that made it easy to unwind. The amenities were surprisingly extensive, including a latest-model Mirable microbubble showerhead. Breakfast was generous, tasty, and filling. You can also pay extra for an early check-in, and the usual 11 AM checkout is handy if, like me, you’re not a morning person.

The sauna was the main draw for me. I could take it easy without leaving the room or seeing anyone. It stays at 90 degrees, with no löyly (steam), but that was enough for me. I’d recommend the place if you just want to switch off by yourself, and I’ll come back. I rode in on my motorcycle, so the covered parking was a big plus, especially since this used to be a love hotel. The room had just been renovated and was clean and roomy. There were TVs in the living area, bedroom, and bathroom, which meant I could watch regular TV or online videos wherever I was.
