The owner had the air conditioning on before I arrived, but the room was still cold. The concrete walls with wallpaper don't warm up easily in some spots, so bring warm clothes if you're visiting in winter. The place was clean, and despite a few stiff doors that made odd noises, it was all manageable. It's a quiet guesthouse on a hill, close to Kansai University and convenient for events there. The Hankyu Senri Line's Kansai University-mae Station is nearby, and the Meishin Expressway is close too. There were umbrellas for rainy weather. I wasn't sure whether the ice packs in the freezer were okay to use or had just been left behind. The decorative-looking dishes seemed fine to use, and there was plenty of tea, perhaps because the owner likes Earl Grey. I think it's a good place to stay.
