The reception service was great, and the hotel was clean and reasonably priced. It’s conveniently close to Suzuka Circuit Park, though there aren’t many restaurants nearby, which was a bit inconvenient. The twin rooms are so small that finding space to open a suitcase is difficult.

The room smelled really bad as soon as I walked in. I’d booked a smoking room, and in that small space the smell had worked its way into the walls. Smoking has declined lately, so I guess the room doesn’t get used much, but even the sheets and pillows smelled of tar.

The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the rates reasonable. Parking is free, with restaurants and a 24-hour supermarket nearby. The road outside made things a bit noisy until evening, but otherwise everything was great.
