Comfort Hotel Suzuka

It’s about a five-minute walk to Shiroko station. The staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is delicious 😋

After the disappointing stay I had at Comfort Hotel Nagoya Kanayama, the warm, professional service at Comfort Hotel Suzuka came as a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made a real effort to help me feel welcome and understood even though I’m not fluent in Japanese. It made a big difference and felt like the kind of hospitality a hotel should offer. The Suzuka location clearly takes guest comfort seriously and lives up to the brand’s name. The contrast with the cold, indifferent service I got in Kanayama was striking. My stay here reminded me how good a hotel experience can be when the staff care. I’d definitely recommend Comfort Hotel Suzuka to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant stay in Japan.

The rooms are compact but cozy, and both the beds and pillows are very comfortable. There’s only one elevator, which is the downside, but the price feels like full value. The staff are kind and professional, and breakfast is simple, tasty, and has a nice variety. Highly recommended.

For a budget hotel, this deserves five stars. Everything is small, but the free breakfast was alright and the staff were great. There’s a washer and dryer, although drying took a really long time. The beach is a short walk away. It’s kind of dirty, but there are tons of shells if you’re into that.
