The meal and the people at reception made up for the inconvenience of staying in a room without its own toilet or bath. The only sink was in the toilet, which was a bit awkward. ♪ I’d definitely stay here again.

The food tasted good, but there wasn’t much variety, and the bath felt like one on a ferry. What really dragged down my rating was the cigarette smell and the tar that lingered. As soon as you walk in, it feels like a smoker’s paradise and a really harsh place for non-smokers. I underestimated that.

The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. I ran into a problem when it was time to leave, but they helped me out and I still got to work on time. I stayed one night for work. Having the bathroom and toilet separate was inconvenient. Thanks very much for the help.

This one is totally different from the other one. It’s smaller, but really nice, and the room is very clean.

After about four years away, I stayed here again on a business trip to Tahara, and it brought back memories. The outside looked much the same, but now there’s Wi-Fi in the rooms, with a good signal, and there were tissues in the room this time. The Japanese breakfast felt familiar, and it was balanced and generous. For me, the inn is close to perfect now. Genky, my favorite drugstore, has also opened within easy walking distance, and there are various shops nearby, so it’s a convenient area to stay in. I used to come here often for work. Breakfast was included, with a choice of Japanese or Western food, and the bathroom facilities were shared. The front desk staff were cheerful and friendly. Online bookings were unavailable for a while, so I stopped staying here, but they’re possible again now. Back then, many guests seemed to be tradespeople, and maybe a related company rented the whole hotel for the year. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms during my earlier stays, though it worked near reception and in the restaurant. When I couldn’t get a room here, I stayed at other inns in Tahara City, but my impression of this one has improved so much that I’d choose it again on future work trips. It looks popular, judging by the number of parked cars, though I didn’t see many guests who seemed to be tourists. It’s a very good hotel in Tahara, and I’ll definitely come back.
