Shibuya House Hotel

There’s a common room and balcony on the third floor, with a kettle, microwave, water, couches, and tea, all free to use. Coin laundry and luggage storage are downstairs, and keypad entry makes it easy to get into the building and rooms. The only small issue was the tight space around the toilet. I’m an average-sized man, 5'11", and it was a squeeze. Otherwise, no complaints. It’s affordable, clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a great shower. The rooms are nice, and there’s a train station and bus stops right nearby, plus plenty of food options. I’d recommend it and stay again. Thanks, Port House, for a great four-night stay.

What stood out was the hospitality. The host was professional and courteous, and readily helped with questions and requests. That care made the stay better. Port House Shibuya is well located in the lively Shibuya area, with easy access to public transport, shopping, restaurants, and many well-known Tokyo attractions. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The place was calm and well maintained, a relaxing spot to return to after a full day out. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

The host communicated clearly, and the services were affordable and easy to use. It’s a pleasant 45-minute walk to Shibuya Crossing, or you can catch a train from Hatagaya. The rooms are very clean and tidy, though on the small side. I only planned to use mine for sleeping, so that was fine. A really enjoyable stay, thanks.

Hatagaya is a great base: quiet and residential, yet only two stations from Shinjuku. For the price, and with that easy access, I'd stay here again when I'm back in Tokyo. The room is private, which is a real plus at this price. It's very small, and the bathroom is even tighter. I had to step over the toilet to get into the shower. Fine for a solo traveler packing light who doesn't mind a compact space. Just know there's no room service, fresh towels cost ¥100, and laundry is ¥500.
