The host was really welcoming, and the place was tidy and spacious. It’s on a quiet residential street, within walking distance of the JR and bus station. There’s air conditioning in every room and in the shared areas, and the bed was an extra treat because it was so comfortable. Highly recommended!

Even though the guesthouse facilities felt a little traditional, both the Western-style room and the tatami mattresses were surprisingly comfortable. Our family of seven, including three elders, stayed for five nights on a self-guided trip. The location was excellent: we could easily walk to the station to catch a JR train or bus, or head to the harbor to see the lighthouse.

The host replied quickly, the price was reasonable, and we could leave our luggage there before check-in and after check-out, which was really helpful. There’s a supermarket just behind the guesthouse. The balcony has a washing machine, laundry detergent, and a dryer, so it’s handy for travelers flying home. The guesthouse is close to the train station, just turn left after you leave. We went the wrong way on our first trip and ended up at the pier with all our big luggage. The guesthouse is on the right, up on the second floor. There’s an entryway where you can leave your bags, so thankfully you don’t have to carry them upstairs.

Hamamachi Koin was lovely. We were comfortable there, and it was quiet and sweet. The owner couple were warm, friendly, and welcoming, and they have cats. They made our trip happier and gave us lots of lovely memories. You really should stay at this little courtyard. I can’t imagine a more pleasant place to stay around here than 「Hamamachi」.

It’s right beside a JR station, with a medium-sized supermarket behind it, so the location is incredibly convenient. A great choice for families or friends who want to book the whole place! 👍👍👍
