Kuri Building 3F / Vacation STAY 50767

There were five of us, and the place had plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The interior was stylish, with a lovely cafe on the first floor. Since it's in the city center, we wondered if noise would be an issue, but it didn't bother us much. We had a comfortable stay with friends and would like to come back.

Kuri Apartment is on the third floor, with Lima Coffee downstairs, a nice spot to start the day or stop for coffee. Getting here from Takamatsu Airport was simple: take the airport limousine to Kawaramachi Station, one of the main stops, about 100 meters away, so handling luggage is easy. The ferry terminal for the islands is also within easy reach on foot or by public transport. The apartment's location and generous space made the trip feel both efficient and relaxing. Japanese accommodations can feel small to me, but here there was a roomy living area and a separate kitchen with a sink. Nearby, there are restaurants and bars at many price points, from local izakaya-style places to upscale bars. The shopping district is just a block away, and there's a park nearby for some downtime on a longer stay. It was hard to imagine a better location.

Everything else about the accommodation was great, and we had a wonderful stay. The soundproofing could be better, since construction noise from upstairs carried into our room.

The mid-century furniture gives this stylish place a distinctive look. It was a comfortable stay, and being right in central Takamatsu made it easy to get around.
