8/10
The staff put in a real effort to sort out our problem, which left a positive impression. The water pressure in our original room was almost nonexistent, so taking a shower was difficult. It took a while to explain the issue because of translation challenges, but once they understood it wasn’t a quick fix, they moved us to a different, upgraded room. We really appreciated that. We were only stopping in Takamatsu briefly. The hotel is handy for transport and good value, though the rooms are small and a bit dated. Ours was simple, generally clean and comfortable. It’s a practical, affordable place, but not a luxury stay.
