Hotel Alpha-One Takaoka

The room was comfortable and very clean, though it's the usual business hotel style. There's a microwave and washing machine beside the elevator, and you can get a discount at the municipal parking lot next to the station. The hotel is right in front of the station with a Lawson downstairs, which is convenient. Don't count on much of a view from your room. For the location, price, and cleanliness, I recommend it.

The room was spotless, with a newly fitted unit bath and hardly any water stains. I liked that you can watch TV from the bed, pick things up at the convenience store downstairs, and move between areas with and without shoes kept clearly separate. The hotel is close to the station, about a minute from the escalator. The main drawback is the limited floor space, which makes getting a suitcase in and out awkward. I don't usually use one, so it didn't affect me.

Really good value. It's near the station but still quiet, the rooms are clean, and there's a convenience store on the first floor. The receptionist was nice too. YouTube wouldn't play for me, probably because the connection was weak, which was a shame. I ended up enjoying the novel I'd brought along, so that became a nice travel memory. Thanks very much.

The renovated rooms are clean, and with Takaoka's affordable hotel prices, this place is still especially good value. Having a Lawson on the first floor is handy too.
