The lobby and restaurants are quite nice, and the hall has full-size pictures of some Takarazuka stars. The staff are more like local guys than a polished hotel crew, which gives the place a casual feel. Service was a little above average, but not especially classy. I thought it was too expensive for what you get. My room was pretty ordinary, with a nice carpet but not much else, and the bed was very uncomfortable for me. All I could see from the window was the wall of the next building. It may be the best option in the area, and it does make you feel like you’re in Takarazuka. I was only there for a Macross event, though, so I wasn’t really interested in that.

The free Takarazuka On Demand channels in the room were awesome. It’s a fantastic hotel, and the quiet surroundings really helped settle my mind.

The hotel has had a recent renovation and looks much better now. I was there for my son’s graduation ceremony, so I can’t comment on the rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The building is showing its age, with some visible wear. The room is small, but it has everything you need, and the train station is close by, which is a great location.
