I was very happy to have the Sky Stage channel on the TV. The room is old-fashioned, but there’s enough room for two large suitcases, and the hotel itself isn’t fancy. It’s in a great spot, right in front of Hankyu Takarazuka Station, with Takarazuka Grand Theatre just a few minutes’ walk away.

The rooms were so disgusting and smelly that I felt sick. We had booked a smoking room because no other rooms were available, but I’ve stayed in smoking rooms in Japan before that were fresh and clean. This was the worst hotel we stayed in Japan. The rooms are small, and there’s no microwave.

The hot spring bath is great. The hotel is a bit old, but it’s kept clean and comfortable, and it’s right in front of Hankyu Takarazuka station.

I wish they had a breakfast buffet, which would have made our stay perfect. I couldn’t see whether they offered one, so we went out for breakfast instead.

The rooms are small and the equipment is old, and the staff don’t speak English. Still, the place is clean and everything works.
