The staff are courteous, and the food is decent, though choices are limited and it’s only available until 9AM. Complimentary drinks can be had until 10 pm. You can rent a bicycle for 200 yen a day. The bathroom is small and access to it is very narrow, which is a big drawback. Shaving foam isn’t provided. You get one pillow and towel, and need to ask for anything extra. There’s no safety locker or cupboard for clothes, though staff can collect parcel deliveries for you. A washing machine and dryer are available. The door locks aren’t automatic, so you have to leave your key at reception when going out in the morning. Checkout is at 10 AM. The hotel is behind the Takasago station entrance, but it’s still a quiet spot.

A decent place to stay in Takadago. It’s clean and organized overall, though the room is small and a bit expensive.

It’s right by Takasago Station, so if you’re driving, you’ll need to reserve a parking space. The price is reasonable and the rooms are generally clean. The linoleum floors may be down to personal preference, though. I like carpet since I prefer walking barefoot. If you skip cleaning, they give you instant noodles and a drink.
