The owner was kind, and I enjoyed the breakfast. The room felt a bit cold at first, but the blanket was warm and I slept well. I’m satisfied.

Cheap, great place, and the manager was super friendly. The dog was soooo cute too :)
The owner was the best part for me. He’s charming and so welcoming, happy to help with anything, and it was easy to talk with him using Google Translate. He’s often around the house with his lovely dog, Lassi. My one concern was not having a safe for valuables, since the house and rooms are always open. It’s a cozy, homey traditional Japanese house with just a few rooms. Mine was spacious, the futon was comfortable, and although there’s air conditioning, I didn’t need it in October. The price is very affordable and breakfast is included for free. There’s a shared kitchen with a refrigerator, and a washing machine so you can do laundry like at home. For me, it’s the best place to stay in Takatsuki. Don’t hesitate to book this authentic house. If the owner has no availability, he has another house available.
The owner was so friendly and had a nice chat with me. I also got breakfast there, and his dog was adorable. I’d love to stay again next year when I visit Osaka or Kyoto.
I left my belongings there and went out with friends because I trusted the owner, who seemed like a nice person. When I came back, I was locked out and they wouldn’t let me in until I called the police. About 1000 yen was missing from my wallet. I was appalled by how the owner lied to the police who came to ask what had happened.
