I had such a great time in the room and onsen. The room was big, tidy, and cozy, with two private hot baths, one indoors and one outdoors. Along with the public bath, the resort has five private baths, so there's plenty of privacy and I could enjoy quality time with my family.
We even extended our stay, which hardly ever happens for us. It's an upscale Ryokan with great food, service, and facilities. Each chalet has a lounge and bedroom, plus an outdoor space with a private bath, veranda, and heated changing room.
My only regret is that I didn't book three nights in a row. The open-air hot springs, with beautiful nature all around and a starry sky at night, made for memories I'll keep for a long time. The hotel was the highlight of my trip. The buildings and rooms draw heavily on Japanese culture, giving the place an immersive, authentic feel. There's warmth and meaning in the details, and I wanted to take it all in. The food was another standout, with delicate, delicious local dishes that gave a real taste of the region. It's a peaceful place to unwind and feel surrounded by the culture.
You can unwind with a small library or in the lounge, and there are private baths for families as well. It's a tucked-away hot spring inn with delicious food and a substantial wine collection.
The facilities have a lovely Japanese style, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are lots of onsens, and the food is fantastic.
