You can eat at the restaurant even if you aren't staying there.

The rooms are clean, and the basic amenities are there. Bring your own tissues, though. When there aren’t noisy guests, it’s peaceful enough to unwind and enjoy the nature around you. Even the lighting in the second-floor hallway helps make the place feel calm. I’ve been coming here for 10 years in a row, sometimes twice in one year. I work hard all year just so I can stay here, lol. I really do love this inn. It has a homey feel, fair prices, and food that makes you feel good inside and out. Even the simple breakfast is comforting. Sometimes it’s rice balls, sometimes hot sandwiches, served at random, and I always feel relaxed eating them. You have to try Noodle Store Sora. The shrimp ramen and tsukemen are my favorites. They apparently make the broth in a unique way, and it has a rich taste I’ve never had before. Give it a try when you’re here. The venison karaage and garlic and egg fried rice are great too, though honestly everything tastes good. After 10 years, I can say that with confidence. I’ll definitely be back next year. If you’re planning to visit Tateshina and haven’t picked an inn, I’d recommend this one without hesitation.

A family-style place with a ramen shop downstairs. I tried the shrimp ramen, and it was delicious, with a strong shrimp flavor that didn’t feel heavy. The B&B itself is reasonably priced, and the rooms are clean and perfectly adequate. A nice spot for both a stay and a bowl of ramen.

It was cool enough in summer, and so quiet that I could really unwind. The room was clean and comfortable too.
