It's worth including breakfast with your stay, and rooms seem to be limited, so book early. The married couple who run the inn create a very homey feel. I was able to relax there.

The owners were very friendly, and the whole building was spotless and well cared for. The private open-air bath was large and relaxing, and breakfast was generous and delicious. I'd definitely stay again if I get the chance.

This was our second visit, and my husband and I, an older couple, were able to take things easy and relax. The garden was lovely and clearly well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, as others have said, and left us very satisfied. The room was simple rather than lavish, but it showed the owners' good taste. The service was warm and friendly, which felt like a reflection of their character. We also loved the handcrafted open-air bath, with its charming look and roomy tub where we could unwind.

We stayed for two nights and three days, from December 31 to January 2, in the second-floor room closest to the entrance. It had two beds, a sofa bed, and a round table, so it felt very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and toilet share a room, so it might be awkward if you both need the toilet at once. The bathtub was comfortable, with enough room to stretch your legs while sitting. From the window, we could see Oshima, Niijima, Shikinejima, and other islands. The sunset against Oshima was amazing. On New Year's Eve, I stepped into the garden and looked up to find a beautiful starry sky. I took a photo in my phone's night mode and managed to capture Orion clearly.
