A perfectly good pension, and you can check out from 7 in the morning, which is a handy time if you're heading to the sea in winter. There's a hot spring nearby, so I'll come again.

Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and we got to eat breakfast outside. I don't usually do that, so it was a nice treat. Thank you for thinking about the possibility of insects and being considerate. The owner seems to run the place with a lot of care. The potted plants in the dining area and by the pool looked like they were tended by the owner, and showed a good eye for detail. I also loved the scent at the entrance. When I asked about it, you kindly told me what it was, and I even use it at home now. It's a peaceful place where you can forget the noise and bustle of the city. Thanks for a lovely time 😊

We'd booked Tipasa the summer before, but it was cancelled the night before because of COVID-19. I was set on going this year, and finally found my dream hotel. We stayed for two nights and three days, and I had so much fun floating around the pool for four hours, with friends and on my own, until I lost track of time. The place has such a Mediterranean feel that I wondered if I was still in Japan. The interior and exterior, furniture, and decor were all wonderful, and I explored it all excitedly. Breakfast was delicious too. My favorite part was the very friendly owner. We chatted for ages, and the owner suggested some great shops and bakeries where I found lots of nice souvenirs. It felt like being in the Mediterranean without leaving Japan. I'll definitely go again, and hope I can make it back this year.

The owner was incredibly kind, and I felt comfortable from start to finish. The birdsong was soothing the whole time, from check-in through checkout, and our room opened directly onto the pool. Breakfast was delicious too. It was my first time staying in Tateyama, and it turned out to be a great choice. I'm glad I got to enjoy a quiet adults-only break, and I'll definitely return. I found this lovely Caribbean-inspired villa by chance. Since junior high school students and younger aren't allowed to stay, it was peaceful without noisy children around. The place looked just like the photos on the website, understated and unpretentious, and even nicer in person. I especially loved the interior, which reminded me of the diplomat's residence at the Yokohama Foreign Cemetery. There was a piano and some string instruments, so perhaps they rent the villa out for private concerts.
