Hotel AZ Nagasaki Togitsu

It's reasonably priced, and I appreciate that this business hotel includes both dinner and breakfast. There's plenty of parking, too.

If you're planning to eat dinner here, make a reservation first. They ask if you have one when you arrive, then tell you that you must wait 30 minutes because other guests have reservations. During my wait, I saw only two or three people go in, while the seats stayed completely empty. Other customers were being given the same explanation, so I couldn't figure out why anyone had to wait that long to sit down. Maybe there are only so many seats and people without reservations are expected to get whatever is left. If that works for you, go ahead and use the place!

The hot water temperature kept fluctuating, and it was inconvenient that the only microwave was in the first-floor restaurant. The single bed was a little short, too. Aside from those things, I think it's fine.

There are restaurants, supermarkets, drugstores, and hardware stores within a 10-minute walk, and the parking lot is big enough for medium-sized vehicles. The free breakfast buffet was a bit better than at other branches, though there seemed to be fewer seats, or maybe the layout was just awkward. They offer dinner buffet and all-you-can-drink alcohol plans. Payment is upfront, and credit cards are accepted. There’s one elevator. I felt a little uneasy walking in past people gathered around the ashtray by the entrance. The young front desk staff weren't very friendly, just doing their jobs.
