Each room is its own bungalow, built from a container on a trailer and fitted out as a comfortable room with a decent bathroom, big bed, fridge, and microwave. There’s even a massage device on the chair for your back. It’s a clever setup: the land tax is much cheaper because the hotel can be moved away easily, and all it needs is a flat space. The reception is made from containers too, and is the only building fixed solidly to the ground. The price was surprisingly cheap, and I loved it. Since the containers are separate, you don’t get the usual noise through thin walls in Japanese business hotels. Parking is free, which is awesome when you travel by car like me. I’ll definitely stay in one of these again when the occasion comes up. Try it when you visit Japan! I stayed last night at one of the coolest hotels ever. The concept is brilliant.

The rooms and bathroom were VERY clean, and the price was good. Service was fantastic. It’s a 10mins taxi ride from the airport, and they’ll call a taxi for you and communicate if you don’t speak Japanese 😊💜

The room was simple and fine for an overnight stay. Strong wind and a loud noise woke me around midnight. When I checked by the door at checkout, I saw that part of the wooden fence between the containers had come loose and was hitting one of them. Some fences by the other containers were tied together with string too. Maybe the wind just happened to blow through that spot, but I think the fences could be improved.
