GRAND CARIBBEAN RESORT HOTEL - Adult Only

The female staff member who spoke with me on both visits was consistently warm and professional, even though she was a part-timer. My experience with the male employee was the opposite. On my first visit in August, after six months away, he kept me waiting for over 10 minutes and then brought food while looking disheveled, with dandruff on his clothes. The food had a hair in it, and the man who delivered it had white sweat marks on his clothes. It was awful. I raised it as I left, and a woman checked what had happened right away and offered a refund. I came back this month and found another male employee looking untidy, with messy clothes, long hair, and facial hair. He also used casual part-time-style language, saying things like “it will be,” despite working in customer service. I complained again on my way out and was met by the same kind of friendly service from a female employee. The male employee's service was even worse than hers. Honestly, I'm surprised he can work full-time with those customer service skills. Isn't it embarrassing to be working as a part-timer or less? I'd recommend going when female employees are there.

The food was terrible, and the bathtub was small. It was just a little bath by the balcony, not the open-air bath shown in the official website's image. The room also smelled strongly of cigarettes, including the duvet cover, which made me wonder whether it had been changed. There weren't any disposable slippers either. The bathroom and other areas looked like they hadn't even been wiped down. I know love hotels aren't necessarily especially clean, but this was obvious at a glance. I wouldn't stay at or use any of their hotels even for free, and I won't go back to this chain.

The room was a little dusty, maybe because I booked one of the cheaper options. The wooden bathroom door was somewhat dirty, and a few small insects had found their way in. I suppose that can happen at this time of year when ventilation is needed. The parking area was roomy, and the bed was big and comfortable. Ordering through the TV was easy, and the food came quickly. The fries and drinks were tasty. Everything else was perfect!

I stayed there, but an unpleasant older woman ruined the experience. She assumes girls who do judo are boys, and her behavior has been terrible before, too. I left after just a few hours without doing anything. There are plenty of other good, inexpensive places, so I wouldn't recommend going there.
