The hotel is very old and in poor shape overall. Free parking is the main plus, and it’s close to the Awa Odori dance place.

Keeping this note for myself: I slept really well and would stay again. On a business trip, I booked through Yahoo Travel and Jalan. Parking is free and first come, first served, which I appreciated. A different hotel nearer the station has a multi-story garage but charges for each hotel space. The place has an appealing old-fashioned feel, though the TV and air conditioning are new. The 15 cm French bed suited me perfectly. The fourth-floor Japanese-style double room and the third-floor Japanese-style twin room with a semi-double bed each worked for a one-night stay. The twin room was more convenient, with more outlets, including two by each bed and one in the bathroom. In the double room there was no outlet by the bed, so I ran an extension from the refrigerator area. There are two outlets by the TV and one by the fridge. I’ll bring a power strip next time since outlets are limited. The bassinet is old, which may not suit everyone. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and the air conditioning is individual. The bath was average in size but 60 cm deep, held plenty of water, and warmed me up well. The bathroom dimensions are 80 x 60 x 60 cm, with normal water pressure and a wash area. The tub is old and a little rough. Twin-room equipment: Mitsubishi KP-RP40LA4 air conditioner, made in 2024; National toilet with washlet seat and a retro-style faucet; Ohyama PRC-B092D?W refrigerator, made in 2025; and Hisense 40A4N TV, made in 2025, with YouTube and other viewing options. My early morning Wi-Fi test measured 295.53 Mbps download and 261.21 Mbps upload. There’s a supermarket open late about a 10-minute walk away, a 7-Eleven nearby, and some laundromats aren’t open 24 hours. The key is the acrylic stick type. I didn’t run into other guests, and there was no noise inside or from outside, so I slept well.

The prices were incredibly affordable: on a Thursday, a double room was just over 9,000 yen and a triple was under 12,000 yen. I really hope the place does well, because it’s such good value. I came by car with my family, three generations traveling together. It’s a historic old hotel, but I felt the owners cared from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff were kind and showed us where to park and explained the area. The entrance looked old-fashioned, though the room itself was roomy, with newer bed frames and outlets. The mattress and comforters were comfortable, and the bathtub was just right for a relaxing soak up to my shoulders. You could see the owner’s attention in the details.

The price was reasonable, and I was very happy with the stay. It’s set a couple of streets off the main road, so arriving and leaving by car was easy. The building is old, but the rooms are huge, with what felt like more than six tatami mats of open space even with the bed in place. Having room to relax without keeping shoes on over carpet made a big difference. The tatami looked new, and the bath and shower were new and easy to use. The bathroom, sink, and toilet are separate, and the whole place felt clean despite its age. Amenities were Sekkisei. The toothbrush cups and the plates for breakfast bread were paper, which seemed fine to me. There were about five kinds of bread, plus corn chowder, coffee, orange juice, and milk.

The outside looks a bit dated, but it’s very clean inside. Rooms are roomy, coffee is available whenever, and breakfast brings bread, soup, and juice. Good value for the price.
