For what I paid, I was happy with the stay. It’s in a perfect spot for tourists, and the front desk was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the shower and the iron they offered, and the room size was reasonable for a solo trip.

I only stayed one night before flying to Toronto, arriving on 27 June 2023. I forgot to take bedroom photos, but the room was clean and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. There are convenience stores nearby, and getting a taxi or train is easy. Most importantly, the staff were all kind and spoke good English. I didn’t know how to use the self-check-in machine, but a staff member walked me through it step by step. I accidentally left my printed air ticket in the room on 28 June 2023. When I came back for my luggage, the cleaning lady had kept it safe in a plastic cover, and I was very grateful. I also asked a male staff member to call a taxi for me. He waited beside me while I waited for it, and was polite and friendly, lowering himself as he spoke with me. He took the initiative to help with my heavy luggage and spoke to the driver because I couldn’t speak Japanese. I felt bad about the weight of my bags, but he kept smiling. I really appreciate what he did, and regret not asking his name. I was surprised to learn it’s a two-star hotel, because the service felt like five-star service. Thank you to all the staff.

The staff were nice, and the location worked well for getting to the airport. Room cleaning isn’t provided if you stay more than one day. You can check yourself in or out overnight or early in the morning.

The room was clean and tidy, the hotel is close to stations, and it’s good value. All the staff were ready to help kindly except for one night shift worker, who acted like a jailor in Zimbardo’s experiment. It felt creepy.
