We spent three nights here while traveling with friends. There’s no kitchen, though the place had the basics we needed, including a microwave, towels, and basic amenities. Kami-Kitazawa Station is the nearest stop, with a direct train to Shinjuku Station.

The neighborhood is fun to explore, with little spots to discover on foot. Getting around Tokyo is easy too: take the train to Shinjuku and you can reach all over the city. Our room was ready a couple of hours before the stated check-in time, which was a nice bonus.

Having My Basket and a convenience store within walking distance was handy, and the station is right next door, especially useful if you have heavy bags. We were there as a family of three, and the room made a lovely Tokyo memory for us. Everything was very clean, including the shower and toilet, and the decor looked stylish. We had a TV, fridge, microwave, and our own washing machine and dryer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had the supplies and cooking utensils we needed, and the room was really clean. It was also fairly close to Shinjuku Station. Bunk beds were my one preference issue, since I would have liked single beds, but it was fine overall.

Everything was quiet at night, and the host had left lots of thoughtful little touches that you’ll notice during your stay. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for sushi, barbecue, or coffee, plus supermarkets, convenience stores, and drugstores all within a three-minute walk. The station is only about three minutes away on foot. This is a fantastic guesthouse, and I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Japan.
