The staff were kind and accommodating during my two nights here in May 2026. They did their best to explain the hostel rules to me in English, and weren't snobby like some other reviews claimed. I was in the women's dorm on the third floor. It has two showers, four toilets, and five sinks, though only two sinks had hot water. That didn't matter much in summer, but I can't say how that would be in winter. Half the toilet bidets weren't working properly while I was there, so I hope they fix them. There are three hairdryers, available until 11 PM. The other guests were mostly young foreigners and generally quiet. Some talked in the hallway late, but it didn't bother me. Most people gather around the table by the floor entrance. The washer and dryer are also there, and both can only be used until 11 PM. A wash costs ¥300, and the dryer is ¥100 for 30 minutes. The first-floor cafe serves drinks from 8 AM and food from 11:30 AM. Food orders stop at 8 PM, while drinks are available until 11 PM. You can bring outside food to eat in the cafe, since eating in your room or capsule isn't allowed. The location was fine, near a station and bus stop, in a quiet neighborhood.

The cafe downstairs was good, with nice drinks, and it was usually somewhat busy. The hostel is well placed as a starting point for getting around Tokyo, with several clean bathrooms and showers. The heat was my main problem. The room was extremely hot, and with the privacy curtain closed, the bed space felt like an inferno. The showers weren't great either: no ventilation, and clear signs of mold on the ceilings. I'd still recommend it for a cheap, convenient Tokyo stay if you can tolerate the heat.

I've stayed in a few capsule hotels around Tokyo, and this is easily my favorite. The location is hard to beat, with the train just a block away and lovely boutiques and restaurants all around the neighborhood. The place feels clean and relaxed, with pretty lighting and an all-white look. The cafe downstairs is stylish, and the staff were so kind and helpful. I can't see much to complain about here.

I haven't stayed at the hostel, but I like coming to the cafe to work. It can get busy, yet I've always found a seat. There's lots of food and drink to choose from, and it all tastes great. Ordering and paying by QR code is easy, which is perfect for introverts.

The cafe downstairs was a comfortable place to unwind after a full day walking around Tokyo, and the food was great. We stayed for a week or two, and the hostel itself is basically a big dorm with the essentials: a bed, locker, and bathroom. Prices were reasonable, though I'd bring your own slippers. The cafe playlist is pretty fire, with different music for different times of day. The owner is a cool, laid-back guy.
