ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay by IHG

Housekeeping kept my room and bathroom spotless every evening, and the staff were friendly and good at their jobs. I spent six nights here. After an early arrival following a long flight, I waited a while, then the staff kindly let me check in early. Breakfast at The Library cafe was good, though I wish there were more vegetarian options. The monorail station is within walking distance, but you need to transfer for JR. It was a five-star stay at this beautiful IHG property.

For this part of Tokyo near Shinagawa, the hotel offers good value. The rooms are comfortable and not too small by Tokyo standards, and the staff service is excellent. From Tennozu Isle station, the Monorail takes you to Haneda Airport or toward central Tokyo with a change at Hammamatsucho-Station. The Rinkai-Line also connects through the Saikyo-Line directly to Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro. Shinagawa Station is a 20-30 minute walk, and Tokaido Shinkansen trains to Kyoto, Osaka, and other destinations stop there.

We appreciated how calm the hotel felt, even though it’s a little outside the busiest tourist areas. Our room was quiet, spacious by local standards, and well kept, with a lovely Tokyo Bay view that made mornings especially nice. The hotel was clean and comfortable and felt like good value for Tokyo. Public transport made it easy to reach Haneda Airport and central Tokyo. Staff were friendly and professional, and check-in went smoothly. Breakfast had a nice variety and was good. We’d gladly return and recommend it to families, couples, or business travellers looking for a comfortable stay.

Great views and a handy location. There’s a subway, Indian and Thai restaurants, and a supermarket within walking distance, so grabbing food is easy. The coin laundry and fitness centre are open 24 hours. The views were great.
