Atelier Tokyo

The owners weren’t helpful when I tried to find a solution, after we’d already arrived to a dirty apartment. There was food debris, a dirty bathroom, and a torn couch patched with black tape. The bathroom floor also had a large hole under the linoleum, leaving a soft spot you had to stand on to get in and out of the shower. I didn’t feel safe doing that. The listing photos were very misleading: the tatami room with the seating area and the futon bedroom shown there weren’t even part of the apartment. We booked it for our last two nights in Tokyo and regretted it. I’d discourage others from booking.
