Being able to see the Skytree glowing at night from the rooftop was a highlight. The hotel is also only a few minutes on foot from the Skytree and subway, so reaching other well-known Tokyo sights was easy. I was glad there was an elevator too, since it made handling our big suitcases much easier. The room was much larger than I expected and had lots of luggage storage. It was equipped with what we needed, making the stay comfortable and convenient. If you want space, a handy location, a nice night view, and a reasonable price, I’d recommend this place without hesitation.

Kaike House Oshiage was a pleasant surprise for our two-night stay before moving to another hotel. It’s just a few minutes from Skytree, with convenience stores in the local area. The train line runs right beside it, so it can be noisy. Still, the self-catering room felt welcoming, was clean and ready for us, and had the amenities we needed. Access was easy.

Really great experience.

We checked in late after booking through Agoda, then found that the door code they’d supplied was wrong. We spent a long time outside trying to sort it out. Agoda later replied to explain the password error, but didn’t apologize at all. That was really disappointing.
