The hotel is in a great, accessible spot, about a five-minute walk from the bus stop and train station we used. Everyone was nice, and room service cleaned every three days for hygiene, whether or not we gave permission. The room was good, though two cards were provided and one had to stay in the room to keep the AC on. It was my first stay in Japan, so I’m not sure if that’s normal. The one bothersome issue was the late checkout. We requested it and were charged, but the next day they said it wasn’t on file and there was nothing they could do.

It’s a fantastic spot if you want to eat out. Restaurants around town are reasonably priced, and the hotel is close to the nearest JR line. The rooms were very clean, and the hotel was well maintained and fairly easy to navigate. When I got lost, the staff were friendly even though my Japanese is limited.

The room was too cramped for two people and our two large suitcases. I couldn’t open both bags, and my mum and I could barely move around the room or toilet. They didn’t provide amenities either, and the room wasn’t noise-proof.

The bed was really comfortable, and everything was very clean. The location was great, and the staff spoke some English, enough for basic needs but not quite enough for everything. The walls were very thin, so I could hear the person next door talking on the phone and watching TV. It also felt a bit overpriced to me.

The location and price are great, but one of the gentlemen at check-in was extremely rude and unhelpful with the process. That’s a poor welcome for any guest, so for now I’m giving one star to reflect it. I’ll update this if anything changes before checkout.
