Apa Hotel Kanda Ekimae

Checkout is very strict, and they wanted to charge me extra for a delay of literally 20 minutes. Aside from that, it was a great hotel, and I'll stay again. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. The hotel is clean, the staff are polite, and the location is very good.

On our first night, the air conditioner started giving off a musty smell. My husband first thought it was his socks, which he'd worn all day, but we could still smell it after opening the main door. I suspected the AC, stood on the bed to check, and sure enough, that was where it came from. I called the front desk, and within three minutes a woman from the staff was at our door. She couldn't smell it herself, but didn't dismiss what I said. She even suggested her nose might be blocked, and arranged another room, then came with me to check that its AC didn't smell musty. Everything was settled within 30 minutes. Soon after she left, I realized we'd left a suitcase under the bed in the first room. I called again, and a male staff member brought it to us in less than two minutes. Thanks so much to everyone at APA hotel Kanda Ekimae. I'm looking forward to my next two stays at APA hotels in Osaka and Kyoto. I'd stayed at APA Hotel PRIDE Asakasa Kokkaigijidomae last year and had a very good impression of APA, so I chose the chain again. This time I picked Kanda Ekimae. Check-in was smooth and the rooms were very clean. If there were a six-star rating, I'd choose that too!

The view from the 12th floor was really nice, and although the hotel is right by the train tracks, the noise wasn't too disruptive. The room was clean, but keep in mind the walls are thin. They give you fresh towels every day. Rooms are cleaned on request if you ask before 9am, otherwise they come in once every three days. I wish they'd provided trash bags too.

The hotel is very well located, and the rooms and facilities have what you need for a stay. Everyone was always very friendly. I accidentally left my suitcase in the room, but the staff kept me informed and did their best to help me get my belongings back. Thank you very much.
