The neighborhood is very ordinary and quiet, with bathhouses nearby and plenty of everyday shopping options, including convenience stores and Life Supermarket. It's about a 10-minute walk to the station, then roughly another 10 minutes to Shinjuku, so it's handy for getting around Tokyo. The beds are really comfortable, and although it's an older house, it's well maintained. The common area could use more comfortable seating and a TV, and the bathroom is very small but works fine. For a last-minute booking in Tokyo, the price was quite reasonable.
