Asakusa View Hotel

The team were extremely friendly and professional, and the location was great. Rooms may feel small if you’re bringing lots of luggage, but the hotel provides all the basics, including a toothbrush, shampoo, pajamas, and a phone charger. Breakfast was good, though the selection was a bit small and there weren’t many vegetarian choices.

We come back to this hotel every time we visit Tokyo. The TX line is right below, and the staff give great service, with quite a few speaking good English. The rooms feel comfortable and spacious for Japan, and you can even get a view of Mt Fuji or the Tokyo Skytower. Love this place!

The location and views at The View Hotel Asakusa were fantastic, and the stay was lovely overall. Staff were so attentive and kind. They even left us a handwritten note after helping with our bags, which was a thoughtful touch. Dinner at the buffet was a letdown, though: the food was cold and average, and £80 for two, including one beer, felt like poor value. The restaurant staff came across as abrupt and unwelcoming, a big contrast with everyone else at the hotel. We wish we’d skipped dinner there and eaten out for a fraction of the cost.

I’d like to thank ONO for the excellent service during my stay. She was friendly, professional, and very helpful, and she made the experience a real pleasure. Please pass along my appreciation, and thank you for the great hospitality.
