Yumi was particularly helpful and kept the property spotless. It’s one of the best affordable, feature-rich places we booked on our trip to Japan. The shared bathrooms have all the amenities, including premium toiletries, and there’s a shared kitchen if you want to cook. They also stock a limited amount of included noodles, coffee, and chocolates. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Sakurajosui station, with direct connections to Shinjuku station. A few eateries stay open late, and some Gyudon restaurants serve 24/7. There’s also a 7-eleven and Family Mart nearby. A great property if you want peace of mind and a home-like stay.

Yumi is a wonderful host, and her rooms are lovely. The place sits in a quiet suburb, with the essentials close by, including restaurants, 7/11, and other shops. It’s a five-minute walk to the train station and 15 minutes from Shinjuku. I couldn’t recommend her place highly enough.

Sakurajosui in Setagaya, Tokyo is probably my favorite neighborhood in Tokyo so far. It’s a really comfortable area, and this guest house is an amazing spot. The living room is large and beautiful, and the bathrooms and restrooms are very modern. The house is well maintained and supported. It’s also very safe, even by Tokyo standards. There’s quality, affordable massage 8 minutes away, an onsen 9 minutes away, and the post office is 11 minutes away.
