bnb+ Kanda - Hostel

Please avoid this place. It's basically a cave, with holes you crawl into to sleep. There's no common area to sit, no room for luggage, and the mattress is very thin. The male staff member was rude and disrespectful, and came into the room without asking. I didn't feel safe, so I had to leave.

I stayed in mid-May 2025, at a calm time when it wasn't crowded. There were just two other people in the six-bed room, so it didn't feel full and I had my capsule space. The outside area is extremely narrow, though. I can only imagine how hard it would be to move around if all six people were there at once. I made a Japanese friend and we had dinner nearby, but unfortunately there was a language barrier. Towels are rented, so bring your own. Slippers and a hair dryer are provided, and there's a terrace with a view of tall buildings. The men's and women's rooms are separate. There's a small spot by the window for luggage. I couldn't open the window, but the AC was good to have. I didn't see any staff.

I stayed for six nights. The place was very nice and clean, and the balcony was lovely for sitting in the evening with a drink, food, or a smoke. It's close to the subway, and there are plenty of toilets and showers, so no waiting. Thanks, NINA, for your service.

The place was clean and quiet, and the station is less than a two-minute walk away. I had a great stay and met amazing friends there. The staff were accommodating and let us leave our baggage on the final day so we could explore more. Nino was really helpful with lots of recommendations. And don't miss Nino's guitar performances! 🔥
