It’s a decent capsule hotel for the price, and the train is only a minute or two away. Even so, you don’t hear it inside while you’re trying to sleep. The room comes with a free locker, but it only fits a backpack. For larger luggage, expect to pay around 200-300yen a day for a coin locker. The bath is a traditional shared Japanese washroom, which may take some getting used to if you’re from the West. I was fine with it. The main drawbacks for Western guests are the very limited English at the front desk, so have Google Translate ready if you don’t speak Japanese, and the capsule bedding, which is thin over a hard floor.

I stayed on my own for five nights and had no problems at all. It’s a basic Japanese hotel, but clean, quiet, and safe, and the staff are very polite. They cleaned my room daily and replenished towels, lounge pajamas, toothbrush and paste, shampoo and conditioner, a body sponge, and tea. It’s a capsule hotel, though single rooms with private bathrooms are available. You take your shoes off at the entrance, with slippers provided, and there’s coin laundry downstairs. The neighborhood has plenty to do, with Shinagawa Aquarium, a park with trails, restaurants, and shops nearby. Omori Station is about a two-minute walk, and a shopping center with fresh food, clothes, and a grocery store is around ten minutes away. There are also shrines and parks around. I’d absolutely stay again.

The private rooms are small, though quite comfortable. Amenities are included or available, and they’re replaced daily. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is close to the station and shops. Just know the room door can’t be locked. It has only a magnetic latch to hold it shut, so use the locker and a locked suitcase for valuables.

Good value, with nice ramen places and parks nearby. The capsules are clean and have TVs, lights, and outlets, but smoking in the sleeping area makes the air and atmosphere awful. The shower and bath setup is very traditional and can be confusing for a Westerner. Free coffee, too!
