The one good point for me was the roomy personal storage space right beside the bed. Beyond that, I’ve stayed in much better capsule hotels for this price or only a little more. Basic things like a bath towel and body soap cost extra, the rooms weren’t very clean, and my mattress was in poor condition. You also have to change the bedding yourself. I’d avoid this place if you can.

The air in my capsule felt stale, and a strong unpleasant smell hung around the whole time. It was hard to rest. The shower area didn’t provide basics like body wash or shampoo, which was disappointing even for budget accommodation. Getting between floors was another hassle. My capsule was on the 7th floor and the showers on the 8th, so I had to use the elevator each time. There was only one lift, and it could be slow, especially when busy. My capsule also required climbing a ladder, which wasn’t comfortable or practical, particularly for anyone with heavy luggage or who wants easier access. The stay fell short on comfort, convenience, and basic amenities. I wouldn’t recommend booking this hostel, even for one night.
The place looked much better on booking sites than it was in person. There were large stains on the floors, the mattress was extremely thin and uncomfortable compared with other capsule hotels in Japan, and the poor airflow left the rooms stuffy and hot. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
The women’s-only floor was really clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. Amazing for the price. I’d stay again.
The only place to get away from the heat was the rooftop, and even that wasn’t an option when it rained. The common room had no window, smelled awful, and the air conditioning didn’t always work, so it got really hot. The hostel is run down, has no fridge, and the hygiene is below standard. The elevator is the only way up and down, and the waits take ages. When I complained about my bed, they gave me another one without the shit stains or mould stains, but I still didn’t feel comfortable. The showers were filthy, the floors were very dirty, and the beds were nasty, as you can see in the pictures. This felt like one of the most misleadingly advertised hostels I’ve seen. I know what it’s like to travel on a budget, but there are lots of other places at the same price. I would not recommend staying here. Choose carefully.
