I picked this place for my first solo trip to Tokyo. The staff are extremely helpful and speak English. The location is great, close to bus stations and train lines. My one complaint was that the rooms were pretty warm. I love sleeping in an ice-cold room, so the temperature wasn’t for me. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. :) There are separate men’s and women’s floors where the cabins are located. Each floor has toilets and sinks for brushing your teeth and washing up. A cabin usually has a bed, light, safe, and TV. If you want to shower, use the public bath, or do laundry, those facilities are in the main reception area. There are two private showers, a public bath, and two laundromats for washing and drying clothes at a reasonable price. There’s also a lounge by reception where you can order drinks and eat, though I always ate outside.

This works well if a traditional capsule feels too small but you still want to save money compared with a hotel. The staff were really nice, and the cabins have TVs. The public bath has a hot tub at 41.5° C, which is very nice. The receptionist can provide chargers, headphones, and other useful things. If you can, choose the First class cabin. Prices change all the time, so watch for a drop on Agoda, Booking etc.

The facilities feel fancy, and the staff were really friendly. I liked how the capsules were laid out, though the bed was a bit hard and the air conditioning barely seemed to work. It's an inexpensive spot for a couple of nights, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than a few days.

The reception is on the eighth floor, where there's a roomy lobby and a big wall of windows. The staff were warm and welcoming, too. Roppongi station is about a 15-minute walk, so expect to use buses to get to the usual sights. The location isn't among the best First Cabin spots around Tokyo, though it's still okay. I've stayed at First Cabin in several parts of Tokyo, and this one feels much like the others. The cabins have enough room to be comfortable, and the amenities are consistently clean and like new. Prices run a little above typical capsule hotels, but not by much, and they sometimes offer good discounts. The rates shown on Google Maps looked about twice what I usually pay at First Cabin.

The pods are separated by accordion screens with magnetic holds, not doors, so you can hear your neighbors and they'll hear you. Light sleepers may find that hard. The rules ask everyone to be considerate: use headphones for the TV, don't talk on the phone in the sleeping area, and don't set alarms that wake everyone else. The website has helpful information, so read it before you go. This was my first capsule hotel, and I had a good experience. The men's and women's areas, bathrooms, and laundry spaces are separate, and the showers are private stalls. Even the toilets are in individual stalls, which makes things less awkward. The beds are quite hard, and prices vary depending on the room and features. I'd definitely stay again.
