We were able to fit and unpack five suitcases, though space was a little tight for all six of us. The place was clean and had the amenities we needed, including a coin-operated washer and dryer, microwave, small induction stove, fridge, and toiletries. It was an easy walk from Yotsuya Sanchome station, and the staff replied promptly even though most of our communication was by email. The location is in a quieter part of Shinjuku, right next to Yotsuya Fire Station and the Tokyo Fire Museum, which is a must-see.

The room was good, and the area has lots of great places to eat. Getting to the metro was easy, and Shinjuku is only a short trip away. I could have used more dishes for preparing local food, but otherwise it was great.

The location is great. Just be aware that if you have more than two suitcases open, there won't be much room to move around.

The train is very close, which is a real plus, though I’ve realized the main area with all the standout restaurants and shops isn’t walkable from here. We’re still staying in the top-floor unit, and there’s a strong, unmistakable mildew and mold smell. My kids noticed it before we even opened the door. Nothing looks dirty, but the odor reminds me of wet basements with long-standing water problems. I contacted the hotel, but they refused even a partial refund so we could leave early. They suggested adding stronger deodorizers, which bothered me even more. They eventually said they’d send cleaners, but I don’t think cleaning can fix a long-term water or building issue.
