Hotel Ginza Daiei

For the price, this is a really good deal, and I highly recommend it. The nearest metro station is just a few minutes away. The staff were so welcoming, kind, and helpful. The rooms are small, as they are in most Tokyo hotels, but ours was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable and the showers were great. I don't quite understand the low ratings.

Because of the price and location, I'd expected a small, basic room, but it turned out to be pretty spacious. I really enjoyed my stay, and they offer a choice of amenities for female guests.

We got to the hotel before check-in and had no trouble. When we asked for a room with two beds instead, they arranged one quickly. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was small, as is typical in Japan, but had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and the windows and walls kept out noise from outside and other rooms. We only used the hotel to sleep after arriving late, so it worked well for us. At €85 a night, the price seemed fair for the location, and it may be one of the cheapest options around. It's very well placed, about a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Station. I'd stay again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Ginza near a subway station.
